A breaker burned at the bus bar
A breaker overheated and burned where it clipped onto the bus bar. The bus bar was sound, so a new breaker restored the circuit. A burned connection does not always trip first.
Your Trusted Marietta Electrician
Marietta mixes in-town historic streets near the Square with East Cobb subdivisions and later infill. Older services, mixed grounding, and additions that never showed up on the panel directory are common. A ranch that was 100 amps in 1970 and now runs two HVAC units plus a shop is a typical conversation—not a default 200-amp pitch.
Our licensed electricians handle repairs, panel work, lighting, EV chargers, and inspections with transparent pricing. We quote the job you asked for—see how that works. Marietta is part of our Cobb County service area.
Marietta and Cobb County each inspect electrical work depending on the address. We confirm the authority having jurisdiction during the estimate, pull permits when the job requires them, and meet the inspector.
- Full or unlabeled panels in mid-century houses
